Time goes by and photos can show signs of ageing too.  I can however in most cases rescue them, restore and save to a digital medium for you so you can print them at your own convenience, on photo paper or on canvas the choice is yours.   

 

After all your photos are treasured memories of times that have gone by. 

 

I have a current flat bed scanner capable of doing slide, negative and up to A4 photos, I use state of the art image manipulation software which gives fantastic results and can make the old and damaged look like new again and giving you a very much loved photo again.

 

 I am able to:

 

• General re-touching

• Sharpen images

• Colour correct

• Change your images to black & white or sepia

• Repair damages like tears, spots, cracks, blemishes and blurred patches

• Fix faded images

• Remove unwanted bits in a photograph

• Remove discolouration’s and  light stains

• I complete the service by saving to a digital medium of your choice - USB memory stick or your own external hard drive the choice is yours.

• I don't do the printing for you - as I cannot compete with big companies on printing costs hence why I save to a digital medium so you can source printing and decide if you want to do on photographic paper or canvas or make into coffee table booklets and many other mediums that are available now days.

Once you have been quoted a price and agree I am to go ahead the process will begin depending on the job.  Most jobs are done within a week just depends on the quality of the image and the amount but that will be discussed with you at the time of a quote.

 

I do charge an hourly rate but if I only work half of the hour you only pay for that half, I believe in charging only for the time I work on your image not a blocked hour.

 

Your original Photograph is very important to me and rest assured your image will be handled with cloth gloves so as no further damage can come to it.   Your old photos will only be handled once during the scanning process - and then will be stored in safe keeping till the newly restored print is ready and you are phoned for a collection time and payment will be due then.

 

The costs of a USB memory sticks are an additional fee or you can provide me with one of your own.
